Boston the entertainer!

Boston got so excited on this particular day once he realized everyone's attention was on him. He cracks me up. Sorry the video is sideways.

Mark's first Father's Day!

Although I've celebrated father's day for Mark ever since we were engaged this was his first legitimate fathers day so it was really fun to celebrate with him. I am so grateful for a husband who is such an amazing father. We sure do love our daddy!!

A cute little girl...

Okay so maybe I'm the meanest mom ever but I bought this dress for a friends daughter who is a similar size to Boston so I thought I would try it on him to see if it fit. It did!! I was laughing hystericaly for like 5 minutes before Mark scolded me for being cruel and took it off him. I don't know why I couldn't get over seeing him in that dress!... Is it just me or is it pretty funny to see Boston "the man child" in girls clothing. He seemed to know something wasn't right (maybe it was all my laughing) because he was being very uncooperative for photos but I still managed to catch one before Daddy saved him.

More mischief

Boston learned how to open the dryer door and always seemed to try and crawl inside so the other day Mark decided to ablidge him. He played inside for a few minutes and that must of satisfied his curiousity because he's never tried to do it again since. I love having a boy!

Some shut eye...

This guy can not stay awake to save his life ... I've never seen anything like it.

This is how a typical week-night goes.

Natasha: "I think I'm going to bed now are you coming?"

Mark: "No, I really need to stay up and get some homework done."

So I get ready for bed and then come out to say good night and inevitably I usually find him like this.

Natasha: "Are you sure you don't want to just go to bed ... it doesn't look like you are getting much homework done."

Mark: disoriented "uh yah I think I'm just going to go to bed now."

A little sneak peak...

We've never let Boston watch TV ... when he turned 6 months old we started letting him watch Baby Signing Time but we still don't let him watch regular TV. Well now that he's getting tall and can walk along furniture I sometimes find him trying to sneak in a little when I'm not paying attention.

It's so funny because when I say "Boston what are you doing?" He turns around and looks at me like 'what I'm just playing with my toothbrush.'

His mischief begins...

Boston LOVES to take baths!! He has learned how to climb into the bathtub and does this on a regular basis ... I'm always pulling him out and telling him "it's not time for a bath right now." Well today he decided to take matters into his own hands. I heard splashing coming from the bathroom and I ran to find him playing in the toilet!! AHHHHH... my first thought was 'I'm so glad I just cleaned that!' and it made me laugh to see how proud and excited he was! So I striped him down and he got the bath he was begging for. He was smart enough to do it 5 minutes before nap time too!

On a side note, it's never really bothered me when Mark leaves the toilet seat up ... I've always kind of thought it was a silly thing to care about but now I'm always going to be on the look out.
