Acaydia, the school I work at, is right off of University Ave at the Center Street junction in Provo which was right along the parade route on the 4th of July so we set up a table outside our school and did airbrush tattoos. It was great publicity for the school and fun to be in the middle of the excitement.

We love our Oma!

My dad's mom (oma) was just diagnosed with cervical cancer but luckily they caught it earlier enough and they were able to do a histerectomy and remove all of the cancerous tissue. We are so grateful that the surgery went so well and that she is at home now recovering. We love our Oma!

Brandon's home!!

Mark's brother Brandon just got home from serving a mission in Hartford Conneticut this week! We are so glad he's home, now our family is complete. Here's a picture from the airport reunion.

Graduations

James graduated from BYU this spring with a BA in Latin American Studies and then Faith graduated from Timpview HS in June. We are excited for them and their accomplishments!

We also had a family baby shower while we were in Sacramento. It was so much fun!! Thanks for helping us get ready for our little boy.

Northern California...

I'm so behind on posting updates. In May after we spent time in Southern California with friends we drove up to Sacramento and spent a week with my family. Here are a few pictures from our fabulous trip.

We were able to celebrate my sister Mee Mee's birthday while we were there. This is her with her husband and their son Jonathon.

San Diego and LA

Mark and I just spent the last two weeks in California. First we went to Las Vegas and enjoyed a night on the strip and then drove to LA and hung out with my friend Jazmine and her husband Dan. After that we went down to San Diego to visit Mark's friend Dave and his wife Rolene then drove up to Sacramento and spent a week with my family. It was such a great trip!! We miss everyone already!
